All of Boddingtons Electricals gloves are supplied in a range of sizes from regular to extra large to suit your requirements.
Within the TCG range are the following arc flash gloves meeting and exceeding arc flash PPE categories and arc ratings as follows:

- TCG40 Gloves meet and exceed arc flash PPE Category 4 standards with an arc rating of 40 cal/cm²
- TCG65 Gloves meet and exceed arc flash PPE Category 4 standards with an arc rating of 65 cal/cm²
- TCG100 Gloves meet and exceed arc flash PPE Category 4 standards with an arc rating of 100 cal/cm²
➡ Please refer to NFPA 70E or CSA 2462 Standards for specific selection requirements of all the above gloves.
The gloves provide arc flash protection to Category 3 & 4 covering 25cal, 40cal, 65cal and 100cal/cm² according to the open arc method. The gloves are typically used in conjunction with “head-to-toe” arc flash clothing including arc flash helmets. For complete protection please refer to our full range of arc flash clothing.
Conventional rubber type insulating gloves have been used to protect workers exposed to arc flash hazards. Rubber insulating gloves can be bulky, cumbersome or difficult to work in where dexterity is required, hence the evolution of lightweight type arc flash gloves.
➡ According to the NFPA 70E and the CSA Z472 standards, all types of work with shock exposures of greater than 50V require the use of rubber insulating gloves instead of arc flash-rated gloves.
