Silicone Rubber Heat Shrink Cable Joints | SEHDV & SEHDVCB
What’s the difference between SEHDV & SEHDVCB? The main distinction between SEHDV Cable Joints Sudkabel and SEHDV Cable Joints Sudkabel Cable Joints is the difference in their maximum voltage ranges and corresponding design enhancements. Although, these Cable Joints share virtually the same exact key features and benefits, SEHDV joints are engineered for high voltage (HV) applications up to 170kV and are tested according to IEC 60840, making them ideal for standard transmission systems. In contrast, SEHDVCB joints are specifically developed for extra high voltage (EHV) applications ranging from 245kV up to 550kV, with testing in accordance with IEC 62067.
-
Compact, high-reliability design with factory-tested insulation bodies, ensuring robust dielectric performance and ease of installation up to 550 kV.
-
Adaptable joint configuration suitable for in-air or in-ground installations, supporting high mechanical loads and thermal cycling.
-
Tested for impulse and DC withstand strength, ensuring safe operation under lightning impulse, screen separation, and outer protection conditions.
-
