Alroc CWE/14-50-MVS
The Alroc CWE/14-50-MVS Cable Stripping Tools is part of the Cable Jointing Tools range, manufactured by PENTA Alroc, which enables MV-HV jointers to remove the semi-con screen to prepare the cable ready for the installation of cable joints, terminations or connectors. Alroc CWE/14-50-MVS scores the peelable semiconductor on cable diameters between 14mm – 50mm (0.551in – 1.969 in), in order to remove it and performs a chamfer on the semicon cutback of the medium voltage power cable.
The Alroc cable preparation tool design enables the user to fine tune the scoring depth, chamfer on the transition and make circular, longitudinal and helicoidal cuts. An MVS stop tightens on the cable to prevent the Alroc CWE/14-50-MVS from slipping.
