Alroc LH2
LH2 cable jointing tools manufactured by Alroc are used by MV-HV jointers to remove the insulation to prepare the cable ready for the installation of joints, terminations or connectors.
The LH2 enables ruler to set the length of insulation to be removed and back-iron to set the pitch of the tool making easy to rotate the tool.

The LH2 tool manufactured by Alroc is used primarily for the stripping and removal of polymeric (XLPE) insulation from medium and high voltage power cables up to 33kV with outside insulation diameters up to 60mm. LH2 provides an insulation cutting depth of 17mm / 0.669 inches. Contact is for Multi-Function Jointing Tools and the preparation of EHV Extra High Voltage cables.
