CW Aluminium Cable Gland Kits
Prysmian Bicon CW aluminium cable gland kits are industrial cable glands used to terminate circular aluminium single wire armour plastic or rubber sheathed in most climatic conditions whilst enabling inspection of armour continuity. The CW aluminium cable gland kits are weatherproof and waterproof and suitable for indoor and outdoor use and includes:
- CW-AL Cable Gland
- Aluminium Earth Tag
- Aluminium Locknut
- PCP Shroud (2 per kit up to and including 25mm gland size)

LV Cable Terminations
Prysmian Bicon CW aluminium cable gland kits comply with BS6121-1:1989 and BS EN 50262. Suitable for glanding all aluminium wire armoured multi-core power and instrumentation cables including BS 5467, BS 6622, BS 5308 – stranded copper conductors can be terminated using Cembre crimp or Pfisterer shearbolt cable lugs.

CW cable gland kits are constructed using 6082-T6 aluminium alloy alloy is used for guaranteed performance – the gland kit is suitable for service temperatures from -20ºC to +90ºC and is rated to IP66 ensuring it is suitable for use with a sealed washer or thread sealant at the gland interface.

Terminating Low Voltage Cables
Prysmian cable gland kits available in brass, aluminium, nickel plated or stainless steel for cable termination of wire armoured, wire braided and unarmoured cables, including low smoke zero halogen cables in industrial non-hazardous areas. Flameproof and explosion proof Ex e/Ex d hazardous area cable glands with ATEX and IECEx certifications also available.
