CX Brass Cable Gland Kits
Prysmian Bicon CX brass cable gland kits are industrial cable glands used to terminate circular, wire braid armoured plastic or rubber sheathed cables in most climatic conditions. The CX brass cable gland kits have a three part armour lock with a separate armour locking ring, ideal for checking electrical continuity and are weatherproof and waterproof and suitable for indoor and outdoor use and includes:

- PCP Shroud (2 per kit up to and including 25mm gland size)

Prysmian Bicon CX brass cable gland kits comply with BS6121-1:1989 and BS EN 50262. Suitable for glanding all wire braid armoured multi-core power and instrumentation cables – stranded copper conductors can be terminated using Cembre crimp or Pfisterer shearbolt cable lugs.

CuZn39Pb3 brass alloy is used for guaranteed performance – the gland kit is suitable for service temperatures from -20ºC to +90ºC and is rated to IP66 ensuring it is suitable for use with a sealed washer or thread sealant at the gland interface.

Prysmian cable gland kits available in brass, aluminium, nickel plated or stainless steel for cable termination of wire armoured, wire braided and unarmoured cables, including low smoke zero halogen cables in industrial non-hazardous areas. Flameproof and explosion proof Ex e/Ex d hazardous area cable glands with ATEX and IECEx certifications also available.
