Ellis AR2-A13 Atlas Cable Cleats are manufactured from galvanised or stainless steel and are ideal for single cable applications where the highest level of short circuit withstand are required – suitable for LV (Low Voltage), MV (Medium Voltage) and HV (High Voltage) power cable circuits.

Ellis Patents AR2-A13 cable cleats are suitable for securing single-way power cables between 47-55mm overall cable diameter – to protect and cushion LV-HV cables during short circuit conditions the Ellis Atlas cleat range is supplied integral with Low Smoke & Zero Halogen polymeric pads.

The cleats are available in a range of sizes with range taking ability to suit cables in single or trefoil formation.

Atlas Cable Cleats form part of the Ellis Patents range of single cable cleats – also available in galvanised or stainless steel Atlas trefoil cable cleats for cable diameters ranging from 24-102mm.

Atlas Cable Cleats – Installation Instructions

Installation instructions for single way cables using Atlas cleats manufactured by Ellis Patents:

Position the cable clamp and fixing (not supplied) onto the support structure Install Cable Locate the other half of the cable clamp Do not over tighten the cleat
1. Position the cable clamp and fixing (not supplied) onto the support structure 2. Install LV MV HV cable 3. Locate the other half of the cable clamp. Secure with a nut and washer (not supplied) to the support structure and tighten the cable cleat 4. IMPORTANT: Do not over tighten the cleat. The cleat should secure the cable but does not need to be so tight that the cable bulges at either side of the cleat

WARNING – to prevent eddy currents and heating of the cable cleat the top tensioning bolt is made of stainless steel. Ensure that only this bolt is used and that bridging cannot take place. All Atlas cable cleats are supplied with two M12 nuts, bolts and washers.
