Draka Firetuf FTP120

Draka FTP120 is a Halogen Free, Low Smoke (0HLS) fire retardant armoured cable which provides superior fire resistance and circuit integrity. Designed and manufactured to BS8519, Category 1, 2 & 3, Draka FTP120 is manufactured in the UK.

FTP120 cable is third party approved by LPCB for 120 min classification in BS8491. This is the test for fire resistance that includes direct flame, direct impact and water jet at 850°C.

Draka FTP120 holds third party BASEC certification to BS7846, the construction requirements for fire rated armoured cables.

Draka Firetuf FTP120 Cable

features

  • Voltage rating (U0/U): 600/1000V
  • Operating Temperature: -25°C to +90°C (the cable should not be installed when either the ambient or cable temperature is below 0°C)
  • Minimum Bending Radius: 8 x overall diameter of cable
  • Manufacturing Standard: BS7846
  • Cable Conductors: Stranded (Class 2) plain annealed copper
  • Insulation: Mica-glass fire resistant tapes, covered by an extruded layer of XLPE
  • Binder: Polyester tape, glass tapes where performance requires
  • Bedding: Zero Halogen, Low Smoke (0HLS)
  • Armour: Galvanised Steel Wire Armour
  • Cable Sheath: Zero Halogen, Low Smoke (0HLS)
  • Circuit Integrity: BS 7846 F120, BS 8491 30, 60 and 120mins
  • Flame Propagation: BS EN 60332-1-2. BS EN 60332-3-24
  • Acid Gas Emission: BS EN 50267-2-1
  • Smoke Emission: BS EN 61034-2
