Prysmian A2EXP 495NE are ATEX & IECEX certified cable glands for hazardous areas providing high performance in both deluge and IP68 conditions. The dual seal cable glands are IECEX and ATEX rated Ex d IIC / Ex e II.

Prysmian  A2EXP brass cable glands are suitable for terminating circular unarmoured cables with extruded oversheath for use indoors or outdoors – use to connect, terminate or gland cable into flameproof or increased safety equipment in hazardous areas.

  • Achieves IP66, IP68 (1 bar) and deluge proof (DTS01:1991) seal onto cable and to enclosure with suitable sealing washer or thread sealant
  • Weatherproof, waterproof and deluge proof cable glands
  • Fitted with silicone rubber low smoke, zero halogen seal
  • Nickel plated and standard version cable glands available
  • Certificate number Sira99ATEX1086X, IECEx 10.0069X
  • Service temperature range —50°C to +200°C
  • UL Classified in accordance with IEC 60079-0, 60079-1 and 60079-7 for use in hazardous locations
  • UL Listed for use in Class I, Zone 0, 1 and 2 hazardous locations for Canada
  • Terminate stranded copper cable conductors using Cembre cable lugs

  • Zones 1 & 2 with Ex ib IIA, B & C Equipment
  • Zones 1 & 2 with Ex e II Equipment
  • Zones 1 & 2 with Ex p II Equipment
  • Zone 2 with Ex nA II Equipment
  • Zone 21 & 22 with Ex tD II Equipment
