A few words from Thomas:
“This took place on a manufacturing site in Bristol. They have 4 packaged medium voltage substations, each with their own cast resin transformer, manufactured by Magnatek. We previously carried out testing at each substation, finding out that each transformer had a low impedance reading, meaning that they had a low fault current. Also within each transformer they had 22,000 watts of losses due to the cores breaking down. This meant that their electricity bill was quite big, even before they switch a light on. By replacing the transformers, they will have a reliable and dependable power distribution system for incoming future. Only now, they will have 4000 watts of losses per transformer.”
