Pfisterer KP-Test 5R is a capacitive voltage detector designed for use on railway catenaries. The voltage detector presents the operating voltage when brought into contact with the conductor.

Easily transportable thanks to the voltage detector being easily dismantled into five separate components.

Other versions of the voltage detector for rail power systems with different languages or with other signal modes are available on request.

♦ When using voltage detectors to establish presence of operating voltages on MV-HV power cables or overhead lines there may be a requirement to apply field equipment earths, portable earthing, to equipment which is working adjacent to Live conductors to discharge any induced voltages.
