Cembre LUGS

LV Low Voltage Cable Lugs 600 / 100 Volts – complete range of copper cable lugs manufactured by Cembre for the termination and crimping of 0.5sqmm-1000sqmm stranded conductors in low voltage switchgear, control panels, transformers and junction boxes up to 3300v (3.3kV).

These cable lugs manufactured by Cembre are single bolt design typically used to terminate and connect circular stranded copper conductors to BS6360 Class 2 – several ranges of copper cable lugs are available for Class 5 flexible copper cables.

Cembre A range of copper lugs are manufactured from high-conductivity seamless copper tube to EN 12735 with excellent electrical conductivity and copper purity greater than 99.5%. The cable lugs are electrolytically tin-plated to BS1872 and manufactured to meet the crimping requirements of BS4579 Part 3 when installed using correct Cembre crimp tool and die sets.


Copper Cable Lugs

600V/1000V To 11kV

Cembre A-M cable lugs are manufactured from high purity copper tube – A-M cable lugs are rated up to 11kV for dry indoor applications provided Cembre hexagonal die sets are used and the crimp lugs are installed using suitably calibrated Cembre crimping tools.

Cembre A-M cable lugs, made from copper tube, are designed to obtain the most efficient electrical conductivity and mechanical strength to resist vibration and pull out.

A-M copper cable lugs are annealed – applications subject to vibration require cable lugs to provide a reliable electrical crimped connection. Annealed cable lugs resist cracking or breaks between the cable lugs barrel and palm.

Cembre A-M cable lugs feature an inspection hole to allow visual inspection of the cable conductor insertion into the cable lug barrel. The barrel length of the A-M cable lugs allow easy and accurate positioning of the hexagonal die sets during the crimping operation – cable lugs have an operating temperature of 150 Degrees Celsius.

Variants of this range of cable lug are available for super-fine stranded and flexible copper cables.

Note: Cable lugs suitable for medium voltage use up to 11kV when installed in dry indoor applications and crimped using calibrated Cembre tools with the correct hexagonal die set – typically used in conjunction with CMP cable glands for terminating low voltage armoured (SWA), unarmoured and braided cables with stranded copper conductors, 600 / 1000 volts.

Cembre Lugs | S Range

Cembre Lugs | S range cable terminals are manufactured from electrolytic copper strip and tin plated. The seam is brazed to provide uniform mechanical strength. The terminal barrel is rifled to enhance electrical contact to improve mechanical strength. The connectors are manufactured by Cembre from electrolitic Copper Cu-ETP CWOO4A according to UNI EN 13599 and are tin plated with a minimum thickness of 3µm.


Cembre Lugs | Ring Tongue Terminals with Contained Palms

Cembre Lugs | this range of cable lugs features contained palm width specifically designed for application with Low Voltage circuit breakers with reduced space terminal blocks. In fact the contained palm width of the Cembre lug allows an immediate and easier installation – cable lugs are manufactured from electrolytic copper tube with a designed section of the barrel and the choice of principal dimensions for optimising the best combination of mechanical strength and electrical conductivity. Cembre lugs are manufactured from electrolytic copper tube Cu-OF CW008A conform to UNI EN 13600.


Cembre Lugs | A-L Series Lugs Angled 90°

Cembre Lugs | the A-L series lugs angled 90° are manufactured from electrolytic copper tube. The dimensions of the tube are designed to obtain the most efficient electrical conductivity and mechanical strength to resist vibration and pull out. Cembre cable lugs are annealed to guarantee optimum ductility which is an absolute necessity for connectors which will have to withstand the severe deformation arising when compressed and any bending of the palm during installation.


Cembre Lugs | A-2M Series Cable Lugs

Cembre Lugs | A-2M series lugs are manufactured by Cembre from electrolytic copper tube. The dimensions of the cable lug tube are designed to obtain the most efficient electrical conductivity and mechanical strength to resist vibration and pull out. UL listed for US and Canada per UL486A up to 35kV.


Cembre Lugs | Transformer Cable Lugs | 4 Hole

Cembre Lugs | A-4ESI series cable lugs lugs are made from high purity electrolytic copper tube, annealed and tin plated with a four hole stud fixing in accordance with E.A. specifications ensures compatibility with most transformer fixing arrangements from 600V to 11kV.
