Euromold 300SA is a surge arrester (11kV-33kV) specified to protect MV-HV cables terminated into substations and connecting medium/high voltage cables in the following voltage classes:

  • 6/10 (12) kV
  • 6.35/11 (12) kV
  • 8.7/15 (17.5) kV
  • 12/20 (24) kV
  • 12.7/22 (24) kV
  • 18/30 (36) kV
  • 19/33 (36) kV

Euromold 300SA surge arrester can be supplied with straight connector (450SR) or a tee connector (480TB484TB or 489TB)  or a coupling connector (800PB804PB or 809PB) – all suitable for use with Interface C Compact type bushings on SF6 gas-insulated switchgear.

This surge arrester is a metal oxide varistor surge arrester in an elbow configuration that is tested for AC withstand and partial discharge prior to leaving the factory.

Connector accessories include: dead-end receptacle, dead-end plug, stand-off plug and earthing plug for type C Compact interfaces.

  2. Conductive EPDM insert.

  4. Insulating EPDM layer moulded between the insert and the jacket.

  8. Earth connection.
  9. Earth lead.
