Respirex’s dielectric safety boots are HV insulating boots (high voltage) providing electrical insulation and protection for up to 20kV over the complete boot for over 8 minutes and 35kV over the sole for 3 minutes – typically used for electrical safety and protection on medium/high voltage cables, substations, switchgear and electrical infrastructure.

The HV insulating boot has an energy absorbing heel and comfort insole ensuring they are comfortable for long periods. Superior slip resistance is provided by the hard wearing vulcanised rubber sole reducing risk of accidents on wet or slippery surfaces and a 200 joule epoxy coated steel toe cap provides further protection.
