The PICOUP 65 is a new waterproof tool and forms part of a range cable cutting and spiking tools from PENTA P&B (P&B Weir Electrical Ltd) distributed and stocked by Thorne & Derrick.

The Ultra Safe tool is a compact single unit rated to IP67 and remote controlled up to a distance of 150m for additional safety to the user. The PICOUP 65 is a fully integrated, waterproof electrohydraulic cable cutter without hydraulic hose, remotely controlled, to check absence of voltage on underground power cables.

HYDRAULIC – safe operation, no resort to firing hazardous class, explosive cartridges
REMOTE – safe working distance with no physical connection between the user and tool
POWERFUL – hardened steel blades spike and cut up to 65mm diameter cables
