Nexans 24CSJ type MV cable joints are straight cold shrink joints for jointing single core polymeric insulated medium voltage cables to be laid in air on cable containment or directly buried into a cable trench.
Nexans 24CSJ cold shrink cable joints are fully screened and fully submersible for MV-HV cable jointing in industrial or hazardous area locations.
Nexans cable joints are available in both heat shrink and cold shrink technologies for jointing and repairing medium/high voltage cables up to 33kV – single core and 3 core cable joints kits are available for MV-HV cables with paper or polymeric insulation, copper wire or copper tape screen and armoured/unarmoured construction.
The Cold Shrink Joints accommodate both copper or aluminium conductors and accept shearbolt cable connectors or crimp connectors.
