3M Scotchlok 562 IDC Electrical Connectors is a double run or tap connector for tap or parallel splicing. The connector is polypropylene insulated, flame retardant and self stripping. These 3M Insulation Displacement Connectors or IDCs are suitable for control circuit wiring, fixture wiring, appliance wiring, signal and PA systems and automotive/boat/RV wiring.

Scotchlok 562 IDC Connectors from 3M are 600V rated for building wire and 1000V rated for signs, fixtures and luminaires. They are able to withstand temperatures of 194°F (90°C). UL Listed and RoHS 2011/65/EU Compliant, the Scotchlok connectors are compatible with the 3M Electrical range of Scotchcast cable joints.
