CATU CM6 Insulating Sticks for Short-Circuiting & Earthing Systems
CATU CM6 insulating sticks are suitable for use with short-circuiting and earthing systems.
CM6 insulating sticks are constructed from composite tube fiber glass and epoxy resin and are recommended for cabling applications greater than 95sqmm cross section area – the insulating elements allow “long length” insulating stick assemblies to support short-circuit systems with large cross section cables.
CATU CM-6 insulating sticks suit copper aluminium bronze earth clamps and are suitable for high voltage substation and overhead line applications with 30kA/1 second, 40kA/1 second and 63k/A 1 second fault ratings.

Description & Application
CATU CM6 insulated sticks or poles are generally used with portable earthing and voltage detectors for working on medium/high voltage substations and overhead lines. The insulating sticks have a fixed length of 1.5-3 metres for field use.
Compliant with IEC 61235, the CATU CM6 sticks is made from glass fiber / resin epoxy foam completely insulated for safe working on substations or overhead lines.
