These CATU insulating sticks are made from a red composite fiber glass/epoxy foam filled stick which has a 39mm diameter and features a manoeuvring and lifting eyelet, a handle grip and hand guard.

Description & Application
CATU insulated sticks or poles are generally used with portable earthing and voltage detectors for working on medium/high voltage substations and overhead lines. The insulating sticks have a fixed length of 1.13-3.175 metres for field use.
Compliant with IEC 61235, the CATU insulating sticks are made from glass fiber / resin epoxy foam which is completely insulated for safe working on substations or overhead lines.
