Prysmian Firefix are double fire resistant cable clips which are LUL (London Underground) approved for the rapid installation of fire resistant alarm and emergency lighting cables – the Prysmian FPNF04W FP clip suits cables up to 9.0mm diameter.

The fire resistant cable clips meet the cable support requirements of the British Standard BS5839-1:2002. The FPNF04W FP Firefix double cable clip is a new fixing for FP200 gold fire resistant cables for use in fire detection and fire alarm systems for buildings, voice alarm systems, emergency lighting systems and other essential service circuits – allowing significant installation cost savings.

• Suitable for Prysmian FP200 Gold®, FP Plus™, FP Plus Flex™ and Afumex LSX™
• Suitable for Draka FT30, FT120 and FT Data
• Securely holds one cable – ideal for a single cable run
• Made from BS EN 1652 copper strip
• Fire tested with FP cables
• Finished with a red or white LSOH polyester coating
• Ideal for visible installations

Nail Fixed Fire Resistant Cable Clips

• Firefix by Prysmian is fast and easy to install in accordance with cable support British Standards BS5839-1:2002, BS5266-1:2011 and BS5839-8:2006
• Designed to be used with Spit Pulsa gas nailing technology for rapid installation of the cable clips
• Made from corrosion resistance stainless steel which is coated with an intumescent coating in either red or white to match the fire resistant cable
• Should be installed in accordance with BS7671 IEE Wiring Regulations
• Can be fixed to steel, block work, composite steel decking, brick or concrete
• The fixing of clips to the FP cables takes less than 1 seconds

Firefix | Cable fixing from Prysmian, used to fix fire performance cables using the Spit Pulsa 800E cordless gas nailer directly to the substrate. Both single and double fire resistant cable clips are available in red and white, the double clip requires an adaptor for the nailer that is included in the box of clips.

INSTALLING FP FIREFIX DOUBLE CABLE CLIP

1. Attach adaptor to Pulsa tool
2. Position the Firefix clip directly on to the adaptor
3. Ensure the substrate is clear before pushing the Spit Pulsa tool against the substrate, and nailing the clip into position
4. Place the cable into the clip
5. Close clip
