PF Wipes from Socomore are high flash point, residue free solvent cable cleaning wipes used to clean cables prior to cable jointing and maintenance, switchgear, network and electrical equipment – this includes electrical power and cable distribution systems at 600V, 11kV, 33kV, 66kV and up to 400kV.
The cable cleaning wipes are designed for Cable Jointers to clean contaminants such as grease, oil, sealants and cable jelly from switchgear and cables and are ideal for cable cleaning prior to cable jointing, termination of cables, substation cleaning and maintenance and the degreasing of overhead power lines in rail applications.
PF SOLVENT is a multi-purpose cleaner, available in liquid or as an impregnated wipe which removes grease, jelly, oils, soil, tar and bitumen residues and leaves no residue after complete evaporation. A complete range of cable lubricants are also available for use on High Voltage (HV), Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) applications providing superior friction reduction, reducing the risk of cable damage.
Designed to IEEE Recommendations – PF Wipes are a safe and clean replacement to traditional, fast evaporating hazardous solvents such as Trichloroethane.
PF SOLVENT is a highly effective solvent-based cleaner that has been tested and approved by major energy providers, utilities and contractors for cleaning electrical equipment and cables (and removing bitumen) prior to cable jointing, connections or termination into switchgear.
