Practical installation, good occupational safety and high levels of operational reliability are fundamental criteria for home power connections. ISICOMPACT by PFISTERER – the inventor of multi-conductor cable branch technology to modern labour standards and is perfect for live-line working.
The ISICOMPACT establishes all contacts for a 4-conductor cable branch using a single screw connection. When the screw connection is tightened, contact is established by piercing the insulation on the main line and branch lines.
The patented design offers the following advantages compared to conventional clamping rings:
- Single-screw solution with built-in torque wrench
- IP2X contact protection against electrical hazards during all assembly steps
- Stripping of tap conductors no longer necessary
- Tap conductors are inserted, laborious threading from the front no longer required
- Flexible pressure plates ensure a continuous contact force
- Reduced variant diversity due to broad application areas

How Has The ISICOMPACT Improved?
Steel plates with spring characteristics ensure contact force over life time.
