3 Core Cable Terminations have a cable conductor range of 50-95sqmm suitable for XLPE/SWA/PVC cables – the cable terminations include adhesive lined medium wall tubing and anti-track heat shrink to terminate XLPE insulated cables with steel wire armour (SWA) and 3 cores up to 95sqmm conductors.
Cable termination kits using heat shrink technology are also available for indoor and outdoor terminating of high voltage cables (MV-HV).

Heat Shrink Terminations
Low voltage heat shrink cable terminations comprise lug seals for insulating the cable lugs connection (either crimp lugs or shearbolt lugs) when terminating power cables up to 600/1000V – termination kits also include core tubes, heat shrink cable breakouts for sealing cable crutches and medium wall shrink tubes for electrical insulation.

If earthing of the cable wire armours is required, suffix E1=Indoor EO=Outdoor Example: If a 4 core 185sqmm XLPE/SWA/PVC heat shrink cable termination with indoor earthing is required the part number would be: SPS 185-300-4XE1.
Heat Shrink or Cold Shrink
Also heat shrink cable joints are available for jointing, repairing and connecting 600/1000V and 3.3kV power cables for installation into cable trench, tray or duct – full range of cold shrink joints, terminations, end-caps and abandonment kits are also available for use in workplaces where “hot-working” is not permitted including Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous area locations according to the ATEX Directive.
