Cembre HP4 Ratchet Action Mechanical Crimping Tools

Cembre’s HP4 Ratchet Action mechanical crimping tools are manual crimping tools with a ratchet mechanism. This prevents the handles from opening again before reaching the ratchet and is easy to use thanks to the shape and the soft PVC handle coating.

The HP4 range is equipped with a positioning device which reduces the operators effort and facilitate proper crimping of the conductor. The crimping on the conductor insulation can be carried out by adjusting the jaws of the HP4 mechanical tool through three different settings – strong, medium and light.

At the end of the crimping the outer surface of the conductor is automatically stamped with the following code:

one point for red conductor sizes from 0.25 to 1.5 sqmm
two points for blue conductor sizes from 1.5 to 2.5 sqmm
three points for yellow conductor from 4 to 6 sqmm
