Cembre MT240 R-TD are high voltage copper through connectors with 200-240sqmm sector (S) and round compact (RC) conductors.

MT240 R-TD are unblocked copper splice connectors suitable for jointing cables of same type and specification, typically polymeric-to-polymeric XLPE/EPR insulated cables.

For transition jointing and splicing LV HV cables of PILC (Paper Insulated Lead Covered) construction the Cembre MT-GC version should be used which features a solid stop to prevent migration of oils and greases, (also referred to as “blocked” connectors).
