EV NPT manufactured by Alroc enables the user to spread the tabs of the PE outer sheath with glued aluminium screen (among them, cable : C33-226 Popy and Nikol), without damaging the aluminium screen and in order to slide in the screen ring.

Removing the outer sheath to prepare the cable ready for the installation of joints, terminations or connectors – the cable preparation tools are quick, light to hold and easy to use by the Jointer when stripping jacket/sheath from LV (Low), Medium (MV) and (HV) High Voltage Cables. The limited opening angle given by the EV NPT Jointing tool so that the aluminium will not break is one of the tools main benefits.
