Pbwel line end substation clamps are manufactured from a robust aluminium casting with stainless steel fitting and are designed to be hooked over high voltage busbar so that they become self-supporting whilst the operating screw is tightened or loosened.

PBwel HV substation clamps whether sprung loaded or not should be applied with an operating socket attached to an insulated operating stick pole.

Line end substation clamps should be inspected at regular intervals, prior to each application and should operate freely. Moving parts should be lightly lubricated and the springs should be protected by heavy grease and contact faces should be clean.

Substation portable earthing clamps are suitable for extra high and high voltages: 66kV 132kV 245kV 400kV.
