3M 92 NBA GS Scotchcast resin cable joint kits are low-voltage cable jointing kits using the innovative epoxy, CMR-free 3M™ Scotchcast™ 4 GS Resin.
3M 92-NBA GS Scotchcast cable joints incorporate electrical insulation and mechanical protection and are compatible with both compression (crimp) or mechanical shearbolt connectors for conductor jointing of copper or aluminium cores – this includes approved brands Cembre, Prysmian and Klauke.
92 NBA GS Scotchcast resin cable joint kits includes 8 sizes with options of an integrated connector and different joint types. It features a unique design which builds upon the experience of 3M in low voltage cable accessories.

3M Scotchcast Resin 4 GS with Colour Indicator
3M Scothcast Resin 4 GS is a 2-part, epoxy-based, CMR-free electrical resin for cable splicing, up to 1kV application.
The unique 3M formulation changes colour after the two components of the resin have been correctly mixed. The resin has an enhanced humidity performance during the curing process, and it is supplied with an innovative delivery spout integrated to the resin bag for easy and clean application.
An innovative one-part transparent mould design with a closed mix resin pouring system ensures a mess free, no contact, fast application. The sealing foam at each end of the joint means there is no need to cut the mould shell to size.
Through a colour changing indicator, the resin will turn green when properly mixed. The resin colour changes to a darker green as the curing proceeds. The resin will complete the colour
change in 30 minutes (average time for a kit 92-NBA 3 GS at 23°C).

3M Scotchcast 92 NBA GS Resin Kit
Safe, Fast & Easy Installation of Cable Joints
3M™ Scotchcast™ Resin 4 GS is a general-purpose premium electrical resin supplied in a two-component bag. A bag opener is included. After the yellow and blue components have been mixed the resin turns into a homogeneous green colour, and the colour becomes darker green when the resin is cured.
It is suitable for the electrical insulation and mechanical protection of electrical splices for application up to 1 kV. The 3M Scotchcast Resin 4 GS meets IEC 60455-3-8 requirements and is compliant with EU directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS) and EU directive 1907/2007/EC (REACH), guaranteeing the highest grade of electrical insulation for professional and safe application.
