66kV Cable Joint Sectionalising – Slip-on Single Core Straight Joint 72.5kV Nexans 72MSJ-SB

Euromold 72MSJ-SB is a 66kV slip-on single core straight joint with mechanical connectors and integrated screen sectionalising for cross-bonding application – for jointing copper wire screened polymeric cable to be laid in air or directly buried. The product is fully screened and fully submersible.

The Euromold 72MSJ slip-on single core straight joint is designed for Interface F and covers voltages up to 72.5kV.

Euromold 72MSJ-SB is tested for AC withstand and partial discharge prior to leaving the factory and the outer cover is made of heat-shrinkable tubes. Single-bonding-cables are also available.

66kV connector accessories include: dead-end receptacle, dead-end plug, stand-off plug and earthing plug for type F bushing interfaces.

Euromold 72MSJ-SB – Ordering Instructions

To order the Euromold 72MSJ-SB cable joint, select the joint type which gives you the best centering of your core insulation diameter and add the conductor connector and the screen wired connector.

For coaxial cross-bonding cable please indicate: -SB1 and for single bonding-cables please indicate: -SB2.

Order Example 1: One straight joint for a 72.5kV XLPE insulated cable with 630 mm² aluminum stranded conductor and 50 mm² copper wire screen. The diameter over core insulation is 54 mm.
Used with coaxial cross-bonding cable with 95 mm² copper conductor – 72MSJ-4-SB1+M400.630+D16.95

Order Example 2: One straight joint for a 72.5 kV XLPE insulated cable with 630 mm² aluminum stranded conductor and 50 mm² copper wire screen. The diameter over core insulation is 54mm. Used with two single bonding-cableswith 120 mm² copper conductor – 72MSJ-4-SB2+M400.630+D25.150
