Nexans GT5 is a semi-conductive heat shrink tube is used on MV HV cables, PILC cable joints and MV/HV joints and cable terminations up to 52kV.
The conductive heatshrink tube, coloured black, is suitable for reconstructing the semicon insulation screen and other situations where conductivity is required on medium/high voltage power cable networks – a complete range of semicon screen removal jointing tools are available from stock manufactured by Alroc for the stripping of both easy-peel strippable and bonded type semicon screens.
