Sealing Cabinets
Filofom cabinet base sealant is black in colour and used to seal the base of street cabinets and feeder pillars.
Suitable for use in LV distribution cabinets, public lighting cabinets, cabinets for traffic control and outdoor transformer station installations.
Filoform’s cabinet base sealants and duct sealing system has been approved for use on the Highways & TFL sites (Filoform 205882) and is suitable to use in their network.
Cabinet base sealent is also availaible in a clear opaque colour which is used if a re-enterable seal is required.
Cabinet base sealant PC5882 is a well established product within the UK and has been used for many years by various major companies:

Further Information
- Installation instructions
- Dry and clean the interior walls of the cabinet seal eventual holes and openings in the walls of the cabinet
- Add dried kiln sand to the bottom of the cabinet and make sure this is levelled
- Mix the 2 component base sealant and pour this evenly over the bottom
- If necessary use several packages until the desired thickness is obtained
