400TR and 400TR-LB Nexans Euromold Interface C MV Test Rods Technical Drawings

The 400TR & 400TR-LB Nexans Euromold MV Test Rods are designed to be used as galvanic contact for electrical power cable fault location, cable testing and phasing checks up to 11kV/24kV for medium voltage cables & power systems. 400TR & 400TR-LB test lead may be connected by cable lugs, a 4mm plug, spring clips or insulated test pins.

The 400TR & 400TR-LB Nexans Euromold Medium Voltage Test Rods are compliant with a number of international Power Cable Standards, including CENELEC EN 50180, CENELEC HD 629.1 & IEC 60137.

♦ CENELEC EN 50180

The CENELEC EN 50180 standards are in place and focus on bushings (insulators) for liquid-filled transforms with MV HV voltages above 1kV and up to 52kV, as well as rated currents from 250 A to 3150 A, ultimately ensuring interchangeability and safety. CENELEC EN 50180 establishes essential dimensions for bushings to ensure compatibility with mating connectors, and also includes requirements for creepage distances for open type bushings and detail dimensions of plug-in type bushings.

The IEC 60136 standards focus on the dimensions, marking and testing of carbon brushes and dimensions of brush-holders for electrical machinery. IEC 60136 primarily applies to brushes and brush-holders for cylindrical commutators and slip rings for electrical rotating machines.
