Cable Jumpers are prefabricated lengths of cable, on which a separable connector or a termination is installed at each end to permit connection to the MV HV electrical equipment, such as switchgear or transformer.

The MV HV cable leads are designed for use between electrical equipment, typically between transformers and switchgear.

Nexans Euromold will manufacture the cable jumpers to your own required specifications in conjunction with Thorne & Derrick.

The user is able to specify the type and length of MV HV cable as well as the voltage rating and type of cable accessories to suit the application.

MV HV Test Leads are prefabricated lengths of cable on which a separable connector and a termination is installed on each end. They are typically used to perform tests on electrical installations, transformers, motors.

The range of Medium & High Voltage Assembled Cable Leads are available up to 42kV.

Lead Testing

All Pre-Terminated leads manufactured by Nexans Euromold can be tested for AC withstand and partial discharge test upon request – contact us for more information.

Cable accessories

The accessories of Pre-Terminated leads can be installed on any desired cable, providing it can be sourced, especially short lengths of medium/high voltage cables.

If a pre-terminated cable lead is needed with following requirements:

• a 250A elbow connector for one MV cable end
• a cable length of 4m – 22kV – 95sqmm aluminium – copper wire screened
• an indoor cable termination for the other medium voltage cable end
